What is kickboxing?
Kickboxing is a physical training where one of the primary goals is to learn how to defend yourself while maintaining your posture. Combining techniques from martial arts and boxing, as well as cardiovascular exercises, kickboxing is a physical training that requires a great deal of energy and is guaranteed to burn calories.
You will learn how to deliver various types of kicks taken from taekwondo, karate and Muay Thai. Taekwondo kicks focus primarily on speed and flexibility, while karate kicks focus more on power and strength. Muay Thai focuses on hits using the elbows, knees and shins. Together, they create a truly complete style that is very useful in competition.
Using your fists
Olympic-style boxing is also an integral part of the course. In kickboxing courses, you will also practice shadow boxing (imaginary combat) in order to work on maximizing your concentration. You will learn techniques for delivering jabs, crosses, hooks, uppercuts and various combinations. The objective is to improve your style and learn to fight.

If your goal is to lose weight, we can advise you with respect to the proper type of training, food and everything that will lead to attaining your target. We also have a locker room with a shower, and the training room is air conditioned in the summer. For more complete training, we also offer weightlifting (for those aged 16 years and older).
