Breaking clinic (seminar)

We organize a breaking boards seminar twice per year, in December and in May. All students aged 6 years or more are invited to register for this special course.

Breaking is one of the fundamental elements of taekwondo, and not simply a demonstration exercise. They do not break for the sake of breaking, but in order to learn to channel their strength, and to be powerful and quick. Special kicking and hitting techniques are used for this skill. Learning how to break boards enhances their speed, accuracy, power and concentration.

It is very important to learn the proper techniques for breaking boards. At Kixx Universel Tae Kwon Do, we teach how to break boards safely. These techniques are taught by Pierre Scanzano, under the constant monitoring of other black belts.
